UBM Live has announced the postponement of Working Buildings Middle East 2009 incorporating Fit-Out Middle East, which was set to run at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from 9 – 10 November.
Working Buildings Middle East, incorporating Fit-Out Middle East, was launched in 2007 and came in direct response to market enquiry and research. It is an international trade event for businesses looking to extend the lifecycle of buildings through the proper design, operation and management of buildings and their systems. It also incorporated a section dedicated to fit-out and the final stages of construction.
UBMi UAE Regional Director, Kent Daniels said:“As established business to business service providers, we always listen and respond sensitively to our communities, and that is especially true in these challenging times. It is always disappointing to reach such a decision, but given the current economic conditions we feel it is the best option for the show, and the wider industry. We want to put on the best and most representative exhibition showcase we can and the current market conditions are hindering our progress to achieve that. We have unrivalled experience in the exhibition industry and will be assessing how best the facilities management industry can be served in the UAE capital in the future.”Working Buildings Middle East, incorporating Fit-Out Middle East, was launched in 2007 and came in direct response to market enquiry and research.
